PHOTO ESSAY Contemporary arts isn't made just because they want to and have an income out of it. It depicts a story, the history of Philippine art from the time we already had our own art until we were colonized by the Spaniards, Japanese and the Americans. They had so much ideas from sculpture, architecture, painting and many more that influence out art those times. Examples of these art during the American period is the Magellan's Church, Amorsolo's Ginebra Logo and the Oblation. Philippine contemporary art may be original or authentic.  Contemporary Philippine art is distinguishable through historical, stylistic and cultural terms. It is collaborative and interactive. Behind those beautiful and meaningful art are artists who collaborated with each other to come up with a story in one picture using those brushes, paintings, natural resources and substitutes.
