MUSEUM 

1. Reflect about an aspect of art history.
        The sword with the mouth opening. These three have all different specifications in terms to those who have high position in the society than those ordinary Muslims who don't have any position in the organization.  It's just amazing how everyone is identified with their swords. They honor and pay respect to their superiors.


2. How could this relate to the history of the institution and the collection of art that it houses?
         The museum was built because of the president of Capitol University. She was the one who brought the musuem full of historical values. She was once a teacher in Marawi before. She wanted to impart the tradition, culture and representations of the Muslims. She was the one who brought all the art pieces and most of them are authentic.

3. What impression does the museum building give you?
          The museum gave me that "wow" impression. The art pieces that were presented are like diamonds and gold that's too precious and meaningful. It is too expensive but it can't be bought because of  the value of its history that is more than the cost of money.Its history is imparting us their life and traditions before that makes Cagayan de Oro City and the Muslims what it is today. Thinking about how mostly of the art that was in the museum are authentic from Marawi and are from the sultan itself is too indescribable.
